The birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, Nankana Sahib is a highly revered site for Sikhs. Located in the city of Nankana Sahib in the province of Punjab, this holy site is known for its beautiful Gurdwara Janam Asthan, where visitors can pay their respects and participate in prayer and devotion.

Visa Requirements for Indian Origin Citizens/Residents Visiting Pakistan for Religious Tourism.
If you are an Indian origin citizen or resident of New Zealand who wishes to visit Pakistan for religious tourism, here are the eligibility categories and application process you need to follow:
Eligibility Categories:
- Foreign Nationals of Indian Origin: Nationals of New Zealand or Australia can apply for e-visa.
- Legal and Permanent Residence in a Third Country: Applicants must have valid proof of legal and permanent residence in New Zealand or Australia other than India.
- 3. Spouses and Children of Applicants in the Above Category: The husband/wife of the applicants must also have valid proof of legal and permanent residence in New Zealand or Australia other than India. And, in case of children, the father/mother must have valid proof of legal and permanent residence in New Zealand or Australia other than India.
Application Process:
Applicants can apply for a single-entry visa through the Pakistan Online Visa System for religious tourism.
After submitting the application online, the applicants will receive an email notification regarding the need to visit the nearest/selected Pakistani Mission for document verification. The visit must occur within 2 days.
Required Documents:
Applicants must have the following documents:
- Valid passport
- Passport-sized photograph
- Invitation letter or hotel reservation
